What if you don’t have the time or energy to make something? Or you have to get a present for someone who is hard to buy for because they have everything and don’t need any more “stuff”? Instead of a gift card, you (or a group) could give someone a charity gift card. You can buy charity gift cards from Tisbest.org or JustGive.org  and the recipient will be able to give to the charity of their choice.

  1. I like the idea of the gift card that a person can chose what charity to give to. Last year, we gave to charities in folks’ names (soccer balls in the name of our 3 grandneices for example). I like DYI gifts, and wish that I had the time and energy this year to make them. I will definitely book mark the sites you mention for future reference.
    Thanks for sharing.

  2. You’re welcome. Over the years I’ve done food recipes such as dry ingredients in a bottle with recipe, hot chocolate mix and different shaped chocolates and they were a hit. But, I also like the idea of charity gift cards. I never knew about those sites until I did this post. Learn something new every day. Or most days. 🙂
