The Candle Lighter Award

Phylor’s Blog has given me the Candle Lighter Award! I also have the honour of being the first person to receive the award from Phylor.

If you don’t know the history of this award, it was created by Kate Kresse at Believe Anyway. As she explains:

I call my award The Candle Lighter Award. It is for blogs and bloggers that light a candle in the darkness with their blog. What does it mean? Whenever I see a post or blog that I think brings light to the world, I will put a copy of this post and give them The Candle Lighter Award.

I think this is a wonderful way of showing our appreciation of what we do for each other in the blogging world. Whether it’s a blog that we read regularly or it’s a post that has caught our attention for a few moments, we seek out and connect with others who bring light and warmth to our little corner of the internet.

And to Phylor, thank you. I’m glad I’m able to bring some light to you through my blog as you do the same to so many of us.

  1. Thanks for the kind comments — yet another reason I nominated you — you are such a kind, caring, and compassionate person. Glad you like the award — may it light your way through those dark patches on the road of life@

  2. @ = ! (I’m tired and having trouble writing properly with my keyboard — or the gremlins have moved all the letters and figure keys around, lol! Think it’s time to take a break, have a shower and then a quick nap!

    1. You’re very welcome.

I’m thinking gremlins are getting at my keyboard as well. Or my brain. I type and words (usually only 3 or 4 letter words) come out scrambled. The longer words are OK, go figure. I’m seriously thinking of finding a typing test site so I can get my fingers working again.
