August 15th is National Relaxation Day and 2012 is the 100th birthday of Julia Child. The National Relaxation Day site shares some ways that you can relax today such as take a bubble bath, read a good book, listen to some soothing and healing music or, what I would be doing if I had one, spend the day in a hammock.

You can watch some of the episodes from her various shows, read how Julia influenced and inspired some of today’s top chefs and find some recipes you may want to try.
