Happy Anti-Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is not for everyone. If you are celebrating Anti-Valentine’s Day, or doing your best to ignore it, revel in the fact that you are not caving in to the excesses and demands of one of the biggest holidays of the year. And if people tell you you should be doing something for Valentine’s Day, remind them there are 364 more days in the year for you to show the people in your life how much you love them. Until then, let’s have a laugh to help us get through the day.

  1. I love this antithesis valentines — especially the last one! 😉 We never celebrate valentine’s (until everything is marked down to 75% and only if it’s dark chocolate!). The joke round here is that “I love you” on V day really means the opposite, lol.

    1. I think the idea of Valentine’s Day is great but it’s so commercialized and there are so many expectations. Not the least of which is going to the store on Feb. 15th only to find there are no chocolates on sale. (been there, done that, been disappointed.)

      1. I hate that — I restrain myself most seasons, waiting for the sale. Then there’s no sale, or nothing good left to buy. I like dark chocolate, too!
