Two Seals K-I-S-S-I-N-G

3-2-1 AWWW!!!

I just saw this and had to do a post. It’s two northern elephant seal pups who were rescued and rehabilitated at Laguna Beach’s Pacific Marine Mammal Center. They were released on June 11, 2011.

The two seals were released on the beach in front of their fans. The first seal is ready to go frolic in the water but waits for the second seal who seems not as ready. The first seal waits for the second seal and gives second seal a reassuring kiss. Then they hang out on the beach, with waves beckoning them, while they let their fans take videos and pictures (this is California after all).  But, all too soon, their handlers get them to go in the water. Although, at the end of the video, it looks like they’re ready to come back for an encore.

Enjoy and let the melting of hearts begin.

I Want To See Some Shiba Inu Puppy Cam AWWW!

There are times when I only skim the newspapers and rarely watch TV news because of all the bad news. This is one of those times.

I know there are others who feel the same way. So today I bring you something that will make you go awww!

Do you remember the Shiba Inu puppy cam from 2008? A San Francisco, California couple set up a live webcam feed so that they could monitor their six puppies while at work. It became an internet phenomenon that was watched by people in 74 countries.

On April 14, 2011, mom Kika had her third and final litter of puppies. Here is the 2011 Shiba Inu puppy cam in all its awww-worthy, time-wasting cuteness. If the channel is offline, not to worry. You will still be able to see recorded video of the puppies.
