Humour is an important part of our everyday life. Many of us have read that a few of the benefits of humour are reduced stress, lower blood pressure and some relief of pain.
Humour is one of life’s necessities.
Today, for your helpful dose of humour, I bring you a TED talk by writer and comedian James Veitch. I had originally read a version of his talk sent to me as a joke in an email. It involved someone responding to one of their spam emails. I read it and laughed and moved on because I thought it was a funny joke but only a joke someone had made up.
It turns out it was more than an joke. He did a blog and a book about the different spam emails he received and responded to. You can read a few of the exchanges in articles from TimeOut London and The Daily Mail if you’d like a taste of what you’ll be hearing in the TED video.
